Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Taxes, if applicable, are calculated at checkout. Payment must be authorized before an order is processed.

Order confirmation

After checkout, you will receive an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order affected by suspected fraud, payment failure, stock limitations, shipping restrictions, or obvious pricing or product information errors.

Delivery

Delivery estimates are described in our Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss generally pass to you when the order is delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout, subject to applicable law.

365-day return policy

Eligible purchases may be returned under our Refund Policy. Returned products must include the unit and included accessories in reasonable condition. Damage caused by misuse, modification, abuse, improper installation, or use outside the product instructions may not be eligible for a refund.

Limited warranty support

Aegis Home Safe provides limited warranty support for eligible product defects under normal residential use. At our option, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the remedy for an eligible defective unit may be troubleshooting, repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price paid for that unit.

Warranty support does not cover misuse, improper installation, failure to test or maintain the product, unauthorized modification, physical damage, use in commercial or industrial environments, damage from power events or external causes, use outside the product instructions, or use after any stated end-of-life or service-life period.

Product use and safety responsibilities

Aegis Home Safe products are supplemental early-warning devices. They do not replace smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, gas alarms, required alarms under building or fire codes, professional safety inspection, appliance maintenance, utility service, emergency services, or any safety equipment required by law.

You are responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and using the product according to the product instructions and applicable laws, codes, and safety requirements. No detector can guarantee detection of every hazardous condition in every circumstance. Detection may be affected by placement, blocked airflow, power interruption, sensor age, environmental conditions, improper installation, lack of testing, misuse, damage, or use outside the product instructions.

Emergency response

If an alarm sounds, if you smell gas, if you suspect carbon monoxide or a gas leak, or if anyone experiences symptoms that could be related to carbon monoxide or gas exposure, leave the area immediately and contact emergency services or the appropriate utility.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aegis Home Safe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of use, substitute services, or temporary housing costs, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aegis Home Safe's total liability arising out of or relating to your purchase, use, or inability to use a product will not exceed the purchase price paid for the specific product unit giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death, personal injury, or legally non-waivable product liability claims. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions or limitations of certain damages, so some limitations may not apply to you.
