Aegis Home Safe offers a 365-day test drive on eligible purchases made through aegishomesafe.com.

How to start a return

To request a return, email us at contact@aegishomesafe.com with your order number and the email address used at checkout. We will review the request and, when eligible, send return instructions and a prepaid return label for U.S. orders.

Return window

You may request a return within 365 days of delivery. Products should be returned with the unit and included accessories in reasonable condition. Normal home testing is accepted. Damage caused by misuse, modification, abuse, improper installation, or use outside the product instructions may not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the return, we will notify you by email. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.

Exchanges and damaged shipments

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete, contact us at contact@aegishomesafe.com as soon as possible and include your order number, photos if available, and a short description of the issue. We may replace the product, provide troubleshooting, or issue a refund depending on the situation.

Limited lifetime warranty support

Aegis Home Safe provides limited lifetime warranty support for eligible product defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use. Warranty support applies to the original purchaser and, where a product has a stated end-of-life or service-life period in the product materials or on the unit, only while the product remains within that period.

Warranty support does not cover misuse, improper installation, failure to test or maintain the product, unauthorized modification, physical damage, commercial or industrial use, damage from power events or external causes, use outside the product instructions, or use after any stated end-of-life or service-life period.

Warranty remedy

For an eligible warranty claim, our obligation is, at our option and to the fullest extent permitted by law, to provide troubleshooting, repair, replacement, or a refund of the purchase price paid for the specific unit. This is the exclusive warranty remedy to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Implied warranties and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties are limited to the duration of the applicable written warranty period. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you. This policy gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Safety-related issues

If a product appears to malfunction in a way that could create a safety risk, stop using it if it is safe to do so and contact us promptly at contact@aegishomesafe.com. If an alarm sounds, if you smell gas, if you suspect carbon monoxide or a gas leak, or if anyone experiences symptoms that could be related to carbon monoxide or gas exposure, leave the area immediately and contact emergency services or the appropriate utility.
